Urban Cat League: Guerrilla
Urban Cat League is a NYC-based organization that rehabilitates feral street cats and kittens, and finds them stable, loving homes.
Because they're a charity, they obviously didn't have a lot of money. So we decided to use the city itself to help communicate their core message: "The Street Is No Place For A Kitten."
Window Stickers
We placed life-size, and very real-looking static stickers of cats on doors and windows "trying to get in"
Toy Mice
We scattered these iconic cat toys in parks around the city, with a decorative tag containing our core message and call-to-action.
Scratching Posts
Turning the proposition 180º, we placed "inside" cat things outside by wrapping poles and lamp posts around the city to look like scratching posts.
